Artist insight:

"A visit to Mexico proved to be enormously inspirational for me, .. in that I experienced the fabulous Aztec and Mayan ancient cultures.

I loved the symbols and colours of the the ancient civilisations and found them intriguing beyond belief.

So on my return to my studio I began to work on a series of abstracts based on what I’d learnt and seen in Mexico.

The result was a vibrant and hugely enjoyable body of work.
I am even now, developing the imagery and I hope to have a new series to exhibit in 2023."
